Caregivers Support Group

Caregivers Support Group

posted in: Church News | 0

It has been suggested that a support group for caregivers be established through Greene Memorial United Methodist Church. This would provide a support group for the downtown (and surrounding) area, and would be open to individuals at Greene Memorial Church and the general public.

Vickie Long has volunteered to coordinate the “start up” of the group and to be the initial facilitator. The group would meet monthly on a regular date and time for one to two hours at Greene Memorial United Methodist Church or at another location chosen by the group such as a coffee shop, restaurant, library, etc.

Topics for group discussions may be selected by group members and may include the exchange of feelings or experiences. Topics may also involve outside speakers.

If you or anyone you know is interested in participating in or facilitating for the group, contact Vickie at 387-0324. We are hoping to start the group sessions within the next several months.

Vickie looks forward to hearing from you!
