Fredericksburg District Superintendent to Preach This Sunday

This Sunday, February 1, The Reverend Dr. Theodore “Ted” Smith, District Superintendent for the newly formed Fredericksburg District in the Virginia Conference, will preach at both the 9 and 11am worship services. His sermon is titled, “He asked, ‘How Do I Know?'” The scriptures are Joshua 1:7-9; Ephesians 4:11-16; Luke 6:37-40.

Ted received a Master of Divinity from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University in 1987. In 1996 Ted earned a Doctor of Ministry with a focus on Evangelism from Wesley Theological Seminary.Throughout Ted’s ministry in the United Methodist Church, his goals have been to excel in leadership and service.
