Social Activities and Fellowship

The Social Activities Team Ministry provides a variety of opportunities for social, fun, food, exercise, and fellowship for the entire congregation. We offer everything from sports to fine dining and plays. This ministry continues to expand as requests from our members are carried out. We presently offer:

• Third Sunday Luncheon: On the third Sunday of every month, we go to a different restaurant for a time of fellowship and good food following the 11:00 worship service.
• We have an annual Welcome Back Sunday Picnic in September. This is a covered dish meal at a local park.
• The season of Advent brings the annual Advent festival, Christmas Program, and church-wide caroling. Meals are provided for these events, which provide our members with a program and of course, good food! Our caroling event takes us to local health care homes and to the homes of our shut-ins.
• Outdoor Ministry: We plan hiking and trips to the Red Sox games as weather permits.
