The Social Activities Team Ministry provides a variety of opportunities for social, fun, food, exercise, and fellowship for the entire congregation. We offer everything from sports to fine dining and plays. This ministry continues to expand as requests from our members are carried out. We presently offer:

• Second Sunday Luncheon: On the second Sunday of every month, we go to a different restaurant for a time of fellowship and good food following the 11:00 worship service.
• Camp Alta Mons provides a beautiful setting for a church wide get-a-way week-end in the spring. We have games, walks to the falls, singing, worship, crafts and food. Individuals and families can enjoy a time with nature without the hectic city life.
• Emerald Pointe Water Park is a day trip taken in June. This is fun for all ages, youngest being a year old and our oldest 70plus. We take our church buses and off we go for a day of sun, fun, water slides, pools, and food.
• What would summer be if you didn't have an Ice Cream Social? Our members have great recipes for homemade ice cream and desserts. We enjoy the goodies as we sit back at a local park and watch children of all ages play.
• We have an annual Welcome Back Sunday Picnic in September. This is a covered dish meal at a local park. In recent years, we have added "Beat the Preacher" tennis matches to the evening activities.
• The season of Advent brings the annual Advent festival, Christmas Program, and church-wide caroling. Meals are provided for these events, which provide our members with a program and of course, good food! Our caroling event takes us to local health care homes and to the homes of our shut-ins.
• Our 55 plus age group is called the Keenagers. This group has monthly outings to plays, movies, historical landmarks, etc. We are also working with other churches to provide extended trips to Canada, shopping at Pennsylvania, and other areas of interest.
