Youth at Greene: 6th through 12th Grade
Sunday mornings:
Middle School class for 6th-8th graders
Senior High class for 9th-12th graders
Curriculum is varied in classes with videos, discussions, talk sheets, art, skits, etc.
Sunday evening meetings:
Youth meet for dinner and program on Sunday evenings from 5-6:30
Evening programs vary from discussions to fun time!
Confirmation classes are offered for 6th –12th graders every other year
Youth programs offer a wide range of events from worship led – camping—canoe trips—scavenger hunts—game night—lock-ins—outreach focus—skits—UM district wide events and more
Annual mission trip sponsored by Group Workcamps. We have traveled from New York to Georgia, Ohio, Kentucky and for 2015, we are co-sponsoring a week long mission experience right here in Roanoke!! Go to Group Workcamps.org for details of how your group can be a part of this event.
Youth serve as readers, acolytes, crucifier and ushers for our Sunday morning services.
